Privacy Policy

The short version
The tools on this site run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into a calculator or converter — dates, amounts, generated passwords, and so on — is sent to us or stored anywhere. That said, this site is supported by advertising, and the advertising technology we use does involve cookies. Those are two separate things, covered below.
Data from using the tools
QuickToolBelt has no user accounts and no backend database. Every tool's calculations happen client-side, on your own device. We do not receive, log, or store any input you provide to a tool.
Cookies and advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. This is separate from and unrelated to how the tools themselves work — it's standard practice for ad-supported websites, governed by Google's own privacy policies.
If you are visiting from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent message (via Google's Privacy & Messaging) before we show personalized advertising, in line with applicable consent requirements. You can adjust your ad personalization settings at any time throughGoogle's Ad Settings.
Once advertising is active on this site, cookies you may encounter generally fall into these categories:
| Source | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdSense / ad tech partners | Ad personalization, frequency capping, measuring ad performance | Varies by provider — see Google's own policies for specifics |
We don't set any cookies of our own — every cookie you might encounter here comes from Google or its advertising partners, governed by their policies, not ours.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you're a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you certain rights over your personal information. Here's how they apply to this site:
- Right to know / access: We don't collect or store any personal information ourselves — there's nothing in our systems to request access to, because we don't have a database of user data in the first place.
- Right to delete: Same reasoning — we have nothing of yours to delete.
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing": Advertising cookies used for interest-based ads can count as "sharing" under the CPRA, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out at any time throughGoogle's Ad Settings.
- Right to non-discrimination: We won't treat you differently for exercising any of these rights — there's no paid tier or different experience to withhold.
To exercise any of these rights or ask a question, use the Contact page.
Analytics
We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as aggregate page-view counts) to understand which tools are useful and where to focus improvements. This does not involve tracking individuals across sites.
Children's privacy
QuickToolBelt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
